Who We Are
Corinthian Partners was established in New York in 1996 and has since counseled a curated roster of clients through the decisions that most plainly shape the course of a business and a family’s wealth. Three decades in, the firm remains deliberately small, senior at every level, accountable at every step, and unwilling to expand faster than our standards of care permit.
We practice finance as a craft. Our client relationships are measured in decades rather than transactions, and our mandate, on each engagement, is to bring independence of judgment, fluency with the markets, and the stewardship that confidential counsel requires.
Origins
Corinthian Partners, L.L.C. was organized in the State of New York on May 16, 1996, and has been continuously registered as a broker-dealer with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority since June 25, 1996. The firm is registered to conduct securities business in thirty-three U.S. states and territories and maintains its principal office in midtown Manhattan.
The firm was founded on a conviction that has not aged: that a small, thoughtful partnership can serve sophisticated clients at least as well as a large institution, and, in many instances, considerably better. Three decades later, we continue to run the firm according to that premise.
Our Businesses
The firm organizes its work into three client-facing businesses. Each is staffed by senior professionals, governed by a shared supervisory framework, and measured against the same standard of care.
- Wealth Management, disciplined, relationship-driven portfolio stewardship for qualified individuals, families, and institutions, delivered through our brokerage and our SEC-registered investment adviser affiliate, Corinthian Partners Asset Management, LLC.
- Investment Banking, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic counsel for founders, boards of directors, and financial sponsors across the middle market.
- Capital Markets, public- and private-company solutions, issuer services, and business advisory for operating companies and their management teams, with a considered orientation to both digital-asset and traditional-finance markets, and specialized American Depositary Receipt services.
Philosophy
We take as our operating principle that finance is a service profession. Our obligations begin with candor, are sustained by diligence, and are measured, ultimately, by the durability of the relationships we build. The firm prefers to decline an engagement we cannot serve well to accepting one we can merely complete.
That orientation informs every part of how we work. Deal teams are small and senior. Research, diligence, and documentation are the partners’ personal responsibility, not an administrative afterthought. When a client asks us a hard question, they receive our actual view.
